Country : Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) | Date : 2026-04-30

Overview
Chinese Taipei's Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) has proposed significant amendments to the legal inspection requirements for four categories of power supply and charging equipment, including battery chargers. This initiative aims to streamline regulatory requirements, enhance product safety, and protect consumer interests by regrouping related products and updating applicable standards. Exporters in the power supply sector must understand these changes to maintain market access.
